I was introduced to Dana by a very close friend when I was looking for some targeted guidance. I had had, like many people, a very difficult time during the early parts of the covid pandemic which included losing a job and ending a long-term relationship. Though I had done therapy in the past as a young adult, I had spent the previous ten years very focused on my career. I felt pretty lost after losing my job and ending another long-term relationship that wasn’t working out. I knew that I wasn’t looking for a weekly therapy outlet or classic psychotherapy. My friend recommended Dana as working with a completely different framework and method. Dana held and holds space for me in a way that gave me the room to explore my own patterns and issues. She gave me a new perspective from which to approach my own life and my own experience. In particular, when it came to being able to acknowledge and look clearly at my emotional life and vulnerabilities which up until working with Dana I had learned to ignore or reject. She guided me towards a better knowing of myself with tools I will now always have. Dana was incredibly generous and flexible with her schedule and time, this was really helpful for me because for most of the period we worked together I was living nomadically and also working full-time. There is not enough space here to say how grateful I am to Dana and to my friend who introduced me to Dana; they both helped to transform my life and my ability to be present and witness my experience. I highly recommend Dana to anyone looking for spaciousness, kindness, and a safe place to delve into your emotional, bodily, and spiritual experience.
